MEC552 - Numerical Fluid Dynamics is a numerical simulation class exploring the role of fluid mechanics in science and engineering. In this course, we developed and analysed various methods available to solve the partial differential equations relevant to computational fluid dynamics (elliptic, parabolic and hyperbolic). The emphasis was placed on the algorithms and the convergence properties, as well as their application. My project was to work on simulating the airflow around an airfoil during take-off and landing.
